Federico Cascavilla is an Senior Energy & Decarbonization Engineer, leading energy efficiency projects in WSP Italia, for real estate, industries and infrastructures. He has a strong approach toward energy and sustainability for the built environment, acquired with experience in major engineering firms in Europe and challenging projects delivered over the globe. In particular, he has been involved in several and varied energy efficiency projects, from early energy planning of masterplan to decarbonization studies for existing factories.

Curious and forward‑thinking, he enjoys exploring emerging trends and contributing to projects that support the energy transition and deliver real environmental value. He is an LFE Accredited Professional and he believes that the regenerative design approach can be an opportunity to go beyond sustainable design, leading to incremental environmental and economic value to projects.
