Living Future Europe is excited to announce the call for proposals for our fourth Biophilia Summit!
The Biophilia Summit brings together researchers, designers, developers, manufacturers, educators, artists, policymakers and practitioners to explore how stronger relationships between people and nature can inspire healthier, more resilient and regenerative futures.
The 2026 edition invites contributions that demonstrate how biophilia is being understood, applied and reimagined across disciplines, scales and cultures.
Whether grounded in scientific research, built practice, education, policy, business, art or community initiatives, we welcome contributions that help move biophilia from inspiration into practice.
Applicants are invited to position their proposal within one or more of the following themes below

- Open to new perspectives and constructive dialogue
We are particularly interested in contributions that connect multiple themes and demonstrate how Sensing, Belonging and Regenerating reinforce one another in practice.

Application requirements and evaluation
Successful applications will
- Offer a deep understanding of timely and significant content, including biophilia implementation case studies, deep dives, and information that can create value and support among the audience.
- Provide access to sources, data and resources for information and specifications.
- Present replicable and scalable ideas for a biophilic approach implementation and provide clear takeaways that attendees can implement in their work after the event.
- Demonstrate qualified and engaging presenters with topic-relevant experience, as evidenced through presenter bios, event speaking experience, and video presentations, whenever available.
- Include clear, relevant learning objectives and challenging content for an advanced audience.
- Provide thought leading and creative insights into potential development of biophilic design.
