We are seeking passionate experts on Living Future programs and related topics, (regenerative design construction and economy, European, national, regional, or local regulations) willing to support the acceleration in the paradigm shift and change the world (or at least Europe …!).
The LFE Technical Advisory Group (TAG) aims to analyse, compare and produce documents & reports on
- specific regional standard changes for the adoption of Living Future certification
- crosswalk documents on Living Future programs and other standards or policies relevant to the European market
- harmonisation between Living Future programs and the existing / in progress regulations at a European or National level
The Technical Advisory Group will be working on some key tasks, i.e., how Living Future programs are fitting or not already established on in progress European standards, thanks to the experience and knowledge from the European context.
Time commitment will be gauged depending on the availability of selected participants. We are expecting typically not more than 1 monthly call plus some back-office work to prepare materials and develop technical documentation. The TAG will last for one year, with the possibility to be extended, so the commitment would be required for 12-months, with the possibility for a renewal to be agreed on between the TAG members and LFE. Meetings will be typically on-line. The work is to be considered on a voluntary basis, without remuneration for participation. Selected and actively contributing participants will be recognised in a specific section on LFE website as official members of the TAG.
The selection will be based on the information you provide, (CV, experience, motivation, fields of expertise, LBC Petals, country representation, industry sector). The call is reserved to 10-15 officers. Manufacturing companies are invited to follow a partnership agreement submittal process (which also includes the possibility to take part in LFE Technical Groups). (TAG – Terms of Reference)
If you are interested, please apply using this form by January 10th, 2025.
Past accomplishments
The Technical Advisory Group of 2024 produced these main outputs:

- Submitted to Living Future and got approved a list of Regional Equivalencies for Europe within the Living Building Challenge 4.1 and Zero Carbon 1.1 standards
- Article on the positive impact of LBC to respect the Planetary Boundaries
We would like to extend a big thank you to the line-up of passionate experts on Living Future programs and related topics, (regenerative design construction and economy, European, national, regional, or local regulations) who have been willing to support the acceleration in the paradigm shift and transform the built environment scenario in Europe.
